I absolutely loved my experience at Zimmerman Honda. I had a car that I got from another dealership right down the street and the buying process was definitely not as smooth as this one. The people I seen inside, all had huge smiles on their face. Everyone was very helpful in assisting me with my very first purchase through Zimmerman. Unfortunately I can only remember the last name of the guy who helped me that day and that was Rizzo. He was on point and got this done quite quick. Never made me feel bothersome, etc. I would totally recommended this dealership to any one of my friends. I had a wonderful experience and I would definitely come back again in the future for another purchase.

Last night, I drove my 2001 Honda Civic EX to Zimmerman. I drove away with a 2015 Honda Civic EX. My journey for a car began online as I did extensive research. The Zimmerman website was easy to navigate and provided the foundation for this excellent experience. I spoke with Marty during the day yesterday and set up an appointment for after work. He promptly emailed me the car's details I was interested in and other great information. When I arrived to Zimmerman, Marty was an exceptional employee to deal with. His demeanor and attitude was kind. He was knowledgeable and made the entire experience as stress free as it could be for buying a vehicle. Blake was the individual who assisted my wife and I with the finances. Again, I couldn't have asked for a more helpful and knowledgeable individual for that task. My wife will be looking to purchase a vehicle in 6 months. With that said, the first place I will go to is Zimmerman. And as of now, I highly recommend anyone who is looking for a car to contact Marty Curry and become a part of the Honda family.
Jim Ruge is an exceptional salesman who cares for his customer. He kept us informed each step of the way from ordering our car to the delivery. He made sure that we were briefed on every electronic and manual function of the car and how to get the best out of each. Today’s modern automobiles are a far difference from the other earlier generation of Hondas. Without his expert explanation of each we would still be lost. Thanks Jim for the class and the time you took to make sure that we were introduced to our new Fit.
We're on our third lease with Zimmerman Honda and couldn't be happier with our new sapesperson, Aaron Miguel. He was very laid back and comfortable to work with, yet still knowledgable and professional. In the financing department, we worked with Blake Pelland, and when we ran across a small discrepancy he handled it like a champ-- he's a real problem solver! We're really looking forward to working with Aaron, Blake, and the rest of the staff at Zimmerman Honda again in the future!
Jim Ruge at Zimmerman Hinda knows all of the models and features. He is an excellent sales person and that's why we came back to Zimmerman, along with Gary Rakston in the service department and our overall satisfaction with Honda. This is our 5th Hinda vehicle.
My salesman Luis Arango was very professional and knowledgeable about our Crv. He is the reason my wife and I purchased the vehicle. The price was more than fair and the trade value was spot the first time with my research. The organization is top notch from top to bottom. I recommend them to anyone.
Our search for a used Honda Odyssey began with an e-mail to 4 Honda dealers in the central Illinois. Jim Ruge from Zimmerman was one of three that responded. A couple weeks later Zimmerman had a used EX-L Odyssey that was very close to what we were looking for and we went over for a test drive. Jim arranged to meet us and went way beyond our expectations in explaining the features of the vehicle. After a test drive, we began negotiating and reached a deal that was in my target range. We made arrangements to bring the vehicle back for a couple of items we requested and Jim was very proactive in keeping us abreast of the status. Having driven 70 miles to see this vehicle, the whole deal could have gone south. I felt that Zimmerman and Jim in particular went out of their way to see that we had a successful trip. I very much appreciated that. Overall, we were really pleased with our experience.
I pulled up at the dealership to look at the HRV because this was the only dealer with the color I wanted. I was nearing the end of my lease on my Scion and I wanted something more reliable for my son and me in the snow. Mr. Ron approached me and invited me in to look at one of the HRV's in the show room. He told me about the car and allowed me to look at it without pressuring me to buy. A few days later we made the deal and I couldn't be happier with my HRV! Thank you to Ron and the folks at Zimmerman Honda who made it happen!

Our visits are made so much easier because the people at Zimmerman are very personable. We worked with Ron Allgood, and as soon as he saw us, he greeted us and asked if he could help. We ended up buying an Accord, and Ron was very helpful throughout the entire process. He is friendly and sociable, just as are the other employees we encountered. That's why my title is "Real People" because I felt that they were being themselves, not "salesmen."

I went with my sister to buy a car. Randy made the whole experience a great time for her. The stress level was not there, Randy made the whole experience a delight for her. He answered all our questions, made sure she knew everything she needed to know about the car she was buying, and on the plus side for me, he had an awesome sense of humor. I know when it's my time to start looking for a car, I will be going back to see Randy
We were looking for a used but newer Honda Odyssey to purchase. We found a 2014 pre-certified Odyssey at Zimmerman Honda. Marty Curry was great. I spoke to him by phone initially. He was prompt about emailing me information on the vehicle, including the Autocheck report. We drove up the next day and purchased the vehicle. Marty answered all of our questions and made the entire process great. We also worked with Noland Kropf in finance -- he was great as well! Great customer service, great price, great vehicle, great dealership. I would highly recommend this dealership and salesperson Marty Curry. I will be looking to them again when I am in the market for another vehicle.

I stopped in to Zimmerman's looking for a vehicle to pull my new boat. Ben Wallace greeted me and began working to learn my requirements. He quickly narrowed my search to a several options. I chose a 2014 Pilot 4wd with only 13000 miles. After some negotiation we agreed on a price. The Pilot had slight pull to the left. Ben assured me that it would be taken care of. He handled the appointment and the work was completed without hassle. I've recommended Ben to family and friends without reservation.
My wife and I recently bought a 2015 Acura RDX that had 7000 miles on it. We dealt with Vanessa Lager to negotiate a price on the vehicle, and were able to get a very good deal. This was the best possible deal we found anywhere in northern Illinois. Before signing the paperwork we took the RDX on a test drive and closely inspected the vehicle, which was in virtually new condition. We then bought the RDX and proudly drove it home, very satisfied. However the next day in the sunlight we found a 2 foot long scratch on the tailgate which was difficult to see. I took pictures of the damage and sent them to Vanessa, and after conferring with her by phone an appointment was made to paint the scratch. We felt we were partially at fault for not noticing the damage before we bought the car, and no one at the dealership noticed the damage either. We were worried we would have to pay for the paint job, but when we picked RDX up Vanessa informed us the dealership would pay for the repair at her insistence! We found Vanessa to be very courteous, honest, and forthright. We would strongly recommend this dealership to anyone and look forward to buying our next car there!
